Excerpted from the book 104 Recipes Sunda by Ayu Kharie, following the full recipe empal serundeng bia savory and delicious that makes you addicted.


Ingredients:
350 gr beef
1 liter of water
3 lime leaves, torn
2 stalks lemongrass, crushed
1 tsp sugar
1 bay leaf
2 cm galangal, crushed
2 tsp salt
75g grated coconut
250 ml coconut milk
1 tsp tamarind

Ground spices:
8 red onions
2 eggs hazelnut, toasted
2 tsp coriander
3 cloves garlic
2 cm turmeric

How to make
1. Boil the meat until 3/4 cooked. Remove and cut into pieces and crushed;
2. Boil the meat back, put spices, bay leaf, sugar, salt, pepper, bouillon stew, lemon grass and coconut milk. Stir until boiling;
3. Add tamarind water and boil until tender meat and the flavors mingle. Lift;
4. Heat oil, fry bacon until lightly browned serundeng. Also remaining seasoning serundeng fried until dry, remove from heat and sprinkle over meat.
